Minecraft Dungeons II is a console-and-PC release across five platforms. Because the first Minecraft Dungeons was a multi-platform hit, the platform questions concentrate on what is missing this time: there is no mobile version, no Mac version, and no last-gen console release. The Switch situation is worth spelling out because search traffic asks about it constantly: both Switch and Switch 2 are in the official platform list. The Hong Kong eShop page surfaces the Switch 2 version most prominently, and the wider platform list confirms the original Switch is covered too.
What does not exist
Three platform questions have firm negative answers:
- No mobile version. Nothing has been announced for iOS or Android. Search results promising a Dungeons II APK are not official and should not be installed; the first Dungeons game had no official mobile release either.
- No Mac version. There is no macOS release and none has been teased. PC means Windows.
- No PS4 or Xbox One. The console list starts at the current generation: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
Crossplay and accounts
