The Deluxe items, explained
- Soul cape. A new cape design for Dungeons II. Unlike the pre-order cape, this one lives only inside Dungeons II and does not carry into the main Minecraft game.
- Blub pet. The round, soul-saturated creature that lives in The Sift and soaks in its glowing liquid, following you as a companion pet. The Xbox listing calls it "Blub"; the console listing calls it a soul-bubble pet helper.
- Four hero skins. Cosmetic outfits for your hero.
- DLC 1 and 2. The first two expansions, planned for winter 2026 and spring 2027. Everything known about the DLC.
Pre-order bonuses (launch window only)
Pre-ordering either edition granted three items, listed on the official minecraft.net materials:

The Hong Kong listing adds a deadline: pre-order bonuses had to be redeemed before 15:59 Hong Kong time on launch day. If you missed that window, Mojang has not announced another route to these items.
Which should you buy?
If you will play the DLC anyway, Deluxe is the cheaper route: two expansions bundled for $20 more than Standard. If you are sampling the sequel or playing through Game Pass, Standard plus a later DLC decision loses nothing at launch, because the base game is complete on its own. Buying the DLC individually reaches the same content. Mojang has not announced a one-click upgrade product, so treat per-DLC purchases as the path.
Does the Blub pet affect gameplay?
Pets in this series are companions, and the Blub's listing presents it as a cosmetic companion. No official source describes combat stats for it.
Is the Twisted Cape in the main Minecraft game?
